British racing driver Alex Brundle – son of ex-F1 driver and commentator Martin – was back in action at the weekend.Brundle finished the Salvadori Cup Race in fifth spot at the 82nd Goodwood Members’ Meeting in West Sussex.The West Norfolk race ace took to the track in a 1956 Jaguar D-type ‘long-nose’.Reigning British Touring Car champion Jake Hill stormed to a stunning double victory at the event.Brundle was soon caught and passed, but Hill’s BTTC rival, Tom Ingram, had the final word in his TVR Griffith 400, passing and then repassing Hill to win by 0.8sec.
