Beat the Tide, the Hunstanton Beach Run, is back!

Beat the Tide is a fun beach run for everyone. Club runners, athletes, joggers, parkrunners, and families are welcome to enter and enjoy the event.

Beat the Tide is both a 5k event and a 10k event, with entrants choosing on the day which distance they will run. There will be some puddles and some sandy mud in places, so be prepared to get a little wet and muddy! Importantl,y however, the route will avoid the very heavy mud at the Heacham end that was included in previous events. Some of this will depend on the weather, but it will be great fun!

Starting in front of the Oasis with a mass warm up just before 9am, runners will begin the beach run at Groin 12 and complete a 5k loop, running mainly towards Heacham and back. 10k runners will complete two loops.

Medals will be awarded to male and female runners finishing 1st, 2nd and 3rd in the 5k and 10k events (at approximately 10:15am). All other finishers will not be timed or placed by the organisers. All entrants will receive a special Beat the Tide medal.
