Fans packed the stands at Lynn on Saturday for an electrifying night of racing at the Banger World Final, where high-speed action and dramatic moments kept spectators on the edge of their seats.

In the Saloons, first up was the Charity Ladies Race. Carley List (151) claimed victory for the second year in a row with a strong performance.

More than £10,000 was raised for Cancer Research in the process, a fantastic amount, well done ladies.

Meanwhile, the crowd gasped as later that evening, the very same car in the hands of son Levi experienced a rollover, but the spirit of Saloon racing prevailed as the action continued undeterred in another action-packed evening for the class, right to the very end.

Austen Freestone (341) had a steady night, showing consistency throughout the event, posting top ten finishes through the night with sixth in the feature final being the best finish.

The highlight of the evening was the Banger World Final, where Dover’s Jordan Cumming (570) stormed to victory, securing the coveted title in a fiercely-contested showdown where the winner could have been anyway until the final lap.

His skillful driving and strategic race craft ensured he crossed the finish line ahead of his competitors.
