AFC Lynn Reserves fly the flag in Norfolk Intermediate Cup

Three North West Norfolk League sides took part in Norfolk Intermediate Cup fixtures on Saturday with mixed success.

AFC Lynn Reserves hosted and defeated a strong side form UEA.

Andrew Wood scored a brace whilst Kenzie Corbett and Charlie Edgley netted to secure the 4-2 win and a place in the next round.

Watlington Reserves made the long trip to Dussindale & Hellesdon where they came away empty handed.

The home side won the tie 3-1 with Joshua Bacon scoring the only goal for Watlington.

KLSC FC Reserves entertained North Walsham Reserves from the Anglian Combination and were unlucky to lose out 2-1 on a very wet surface.

Daniel Berry found the net for the West Norfolk side.

Division One leaders, Reffley, returned to winning ways with a thumping 9-1 win at West Lynn.

However, at half-time, the home side were well in the fixture with the score just 1-0 to the Reds.

Tom Edwards claimed four goals, Dion Evans a hattrick and single strikes from Dan Kerry and Arturs Orlovs claimed the 3-points.

Ingoldisthorpe Reserves had substitute, Shannon Herring-Blatch to thanks as they defeated Clenchwarton 3-2.

Herring-Blatch came off the bench to score a brace and to compliment a Kai Mayes goal.

Harvey Bargewell and Tom Lockwood were on target for Clenchwarton.

A Jack Blake masterclass saw Docking Reserves leave Gayton A with a comfortable 4-1 win.

The midfielder ran the show for the maroons along side partner, Matthew Pooley.

Player-manager, Tom Hawkins struck a double to add to goals from Ryan English and 16-year old Tyler Marsh.

Marsh showed great composure to chip the keeper from the edge of the area on his adult football debut.

The Woottons cannot stop winning and are still unbeaten in the league this season.

Saturday, they came up against table toppers, Weeting Saxons, but the Sky Blues left with a comfortable 6-1 win.

Summer signing, Roman Billard scored a hat-trick to add to goals from Sam Garner, Harvey Hughes and Ashley Dickerson.

Watlington Development made it back-to-back wins with a confident 9-0 scoreline over Clenchwarton Reserves.

Harvey Back, recently signed from Dersingham, hit a treble, other scorers included Harley Bunting, Jake Chaplin, Samuel Gilbert and Danny Hannigan.

A Daniel Griffith double helped West Winch respond to last weekend’s loss to Weeting. Winch defeated KLSC FC A 4-2 with Kai Gilkerson and Ben Youngs also on target.

Liam Bowley was on target for KLSC FC A.
