Former World No.2 Fredrik Lindgren will lead the Wolverhampton Wolves team in Niels-Kristian Iversen’s Testimonial meeting at the Adrian Flux Arena on Sunday, March 16 (3pm).The Swedish superstar is a legend of the Black Country club and still performs strongly at the sport’s top level, having secured bronze in the Grand Prix series last year. Also in the Wolves line-up are Leicester’s Australian duo Sam Masters and Ryan Douglas, who both had extensive spells at Monmore Green prior to the club’s appalling eviction by greyhound operators Entain at the end of the 2023 season. The Wolves quartet is completed by current Lynn skipper Nicolai Klindt, who started his UK career at Monmore in 2008 – in a team which also featured Iversen – and spent a total of four season in their colours.Iversen said: “I’m very excited to announce the selected Wolves.“They are four very strong riders, all former Wolves boys who have had great times with the club.”Line-ups for the remaining three teams representing King’s Lynn, Peterborough and Newport are coming soon, and sponsorship packages are available from puks.testimonial@yahoo.com
