Bowling ace Nicole Moseley is celebrating Women’s Under-25 international success with England.Moseley, from Swaffham, was enjoying her first taste of international action at the BIIBC International Series at Aberdeen Indoor Bowls Club.England beat Ireland 113-55 before a nail-biting 83-82 against Scotland and a resounding 114-53 victory over Wales.The Fakenham-based Gallow Indoor Club member was part of the indoor and outdoor England Academy as a 16-year-old.England team manager Lorraine Kuhler said: “Building on last year, where we lost a large proportion of our team (due to age), it was a bit of a reset for us in terms of selection.”The team started with six new caps and a recall plus one of the reserves, who played, was also a new cap.”There were lots of new combinations and players playing in positions for the first time. “I can’t stress enough how professionally the girls approached the challenge ahead of them, showing dedication and commitment to their preparation right from the squad day, up to the final bowl of the last game.” Kuhler added: “The atmosphere was buzzing all the way through. Everyone 100 per cent supported each other both on and off the green, from the minute we got to Aberdeen they settled together as a unit with such a positive vibe.”Also, a competitive UNO tournament on Friday night to help build up the togetherness which showed on the rink.”They applied themselves with true professionalism, dignity and passion throughout, and deserve the reward of being the 2025 champions.”
