West Norfolk students shine at British Championships

Students from the Lynn and Swaffham branches of the Mark Farnham Schools of Tae Kwon-Do enjoyed many successes at the 2024 TAGB British Championships.The event took place in Worcester at the end of last month at Worcester, where 17 fighting areas ran throughout the day.With more than 1200 competitors and 400 officials, this competition is the biggest of the tae kwon-do year.44 students, 64 Spectators and 18 Officials from the Mark Farnham School attended the tournament.They contested pattern, sparring, destruction, power pad, team sparring and team pattern events during the day and returned home with a massive total of 29 medals.King’s Lynn results were as follows: Isaac Fysh third boy’s black belt team sparring.Weronika Geite second girls’ red belt sparring and second in girls’ red belt team sparring.Kasey Grimes third cadet female black belt sparring. Emma Mattocks first girls’ black belt sparring and first in girls’ black belt team sparring.
