King’s Lynn Town are back in pre-season action tonight when they travel to Isthmian League outfit Wroxham (7.30pm).The game against the Yachtsmen is followed by a trip to Mildenhall Town on Friday night.Adam Lakeland’s Linnets began their pre-season preparations with a 4-0 win away to Deeping Ranger on Friday.Ethan Lack and a triallist gave Lynn a 2-0 half-time lead before new signings Ross Crane and Josh Hmami doubled the scoreline after the break.Speaking to the club’s media team after the game, Lakeland said: “It was a good workout.“It’s a really good set-up at Deeping, a good pitch, and I think ultimately all you want in pre-season is to get minutes into your players and come through unscathed, and bar Cameron Forde-Brown having a little bit of a cut on his ankle, we managed to do that.“I thought we played some really good football in both halves, and scored some good goals. It was a good workout and I thought everybody acquitted themselves incredibly well.” Lynn fielded two different sides in their first friendly as Lakeland, who still hopes to add one or two players to his squad, made full use of the players at his disposal. Linnets Academy goalkeeper Tyler Key – on loan at Deeping – pulled off a string of fine saves between the posts to keep the scoreline down.On Wednesday, all eyes will be on the release of the National League North fixtures with Lynn facing several new opponents next season. The division sees Radcliffe enter following their promotion as Champions from the Northern Premier League Premier Division after finishing with 87 points. Runners-up in that league, Macclesfield, lost the play-off final to third-placed Marine, who make the step up.Meanwhile, Needham Market, who finished as Champions of the Southern League Premier Division Central are joined with play-off winners Leamington as the two promoted from that pool. First-half team at Deeping: Boyes, Ronan, Johnson, Isaacson, Lack, Forde-Brown, Falcao, Cybulski, Trialist A, Trialist B, Trialist C.Second-half team at Deeping: Jones, Taylor, Wilson, McFadden, Sass, McCammon, Hughes, Hmami, Ronan, Margetts, Crane.
