There will be a couple of familiar faces back at the Walks on Saturday when King’s Lynn Town host Banbury United in the National League North.
Tai Fleming and Ken Charles will be both be back on their old stomping ground as Lynn look to end a run of three successive league and cup defeats.
Lynn-born Fleming joined Banbury in July and has been ever-present in the starting line-up in league games this season scoring twice but picking up four bookings in the process.
Charles moved from Cheshunt to Banbury in July and is the Puritans’ leading scorer with six goals from 19 games (16 starts).
Adam Lakeland’s side are the only team in National North not to have kept a home clean sheet, while Banbury United arrive in Norfolk with the least successful attack.
A home victory could see Lynn move above Banbury in the table and out of the relegation area.
The visitors have taken a couple of players on loan recently with forward Harry Parsons arriving on a month’s loan from Maidenhead United and defender Charlie Waller from MK Dons.
Waller turned in a man-of-the-match performance during the recent fixture against Curzon Ashton.
It’s Parsons second loan spell at Banbury having played for them in 2022 while on loan from Swindon Town.
Last Saturday the Puritans conceded in time-added-on to lose 1-0 at home to Chorley having been reduced to ten men when Aiden Elliott-Wheeler, on loan from Oxford United, picked up a second booking on 81 minutes.
