KLSC Lionesses U12 travelled to Necton in the Mid Norfolk Youth Girls’ League in search of their first victory since forming.
A goal in either half through Ella Turner and Summer Ellis gave them just that.
A close-fought battle throughout, but with Necton were unable to create clear-cut opportunities, KLSC deservedly were the ones celebrating their 2-0 win at the final whistle.
Over at Terrington, their U12s hosted Watlington in a clash of two of the division’s form sides.
It was the home side who started strongest, dominating the first half with goals from Laila Ringer and Elise Senina.
After the break a change of formation saw a resurgent Watlington claw their way back into it through a Taylor De Nobriga strike.
In the dying embers of the game, Ivy Osler slotted in from close range following a corner to equalize. Spoils shared at 2-2.
