Keegan Monahan-Fairlie and Harrison Futter shared a first-wicket stand of 106 as high-flying Fakenham 2nds made light work of Sandringham in their Norfolk Alliance clash on Saturday.
The Division Three encounter at Highfield Lawn saw Fakenham chase down their target of 153 with 12 overs to spare.
Monahan-Fairlie hit 61 off 77 balls while fellow opener Futter notched an unbeaten 67 from 91 balls.
Ben Ashford chipped in with an unbeaten 23 as Futter and he shared an undefeated second wicket stand of 49.
Earlier, visiting Sandringham found runs hard to come by after being inserted by the hosts.
Only Jack Southgate (37) and Callum Lee (31) provided any real resistance as the visitors struggled to post a competitive total.
Aaron Howell (3-19), Luke Matthews (2-17), Paul Lough (2-19) and Finn Lowe (2-27) were all among the wickets.
The result leaves Fakenham 2nds sitting second in the league standings – just three points behind leaders North Runcton 2nds, who amassed a huge 381 for 6 in their 182-run victory over Brooke 2nds.
Downham Stow 3rds were also victorious as they saw off Old Buckenham 2nds by 23 runs while Hockwold fell 40 runs short of victory in their home game against Bungay.
