Goalkeeper Tommy Dixon-Hodge has become the latest player to extend his stay with King’s Lynn Town

The former Malden & Tiptree shotstopper came in as cover for the injured Paul Jones last season and played an instrumental role between the posts as the Linnets won eight of their final 10 games.

The 22-year-old will remain at the National League North outfit until the summer of 2025 with the option of taking a further year.

Chairman Stephen Cleeve said: “We believe that the keeper has a bright future, and we are very pleased to have his commitment to the club.”

Manager Mark Hughes added: “Tommy has done really well since he came into the side last season in the draw away to Brackley. We won eight out of 10 leagues games with him in goal.

“The chairman and I are delighted to get Tommy on an extended contract as we feel he has a really bright future ahead of him.”

Dixon-Hodge’s committal comes hot on the heels of defender Josh Coulson signing a further year with the club at the end of last week.
