League glory for Dersingham under-10s

Youngsters from Dersingham Rovers answered a challenge from their manager in the best possible way – by winning the league at the Football Development Centre, in Norwich.

The club’s under-10 side participated in the trophy finals for the Norfolk Combined Youth Football League.

The boys were given an ultimatum this by manager Gary English this season – to move into the Norwich league and compete against some of the top teams in Norfolk.

And the overall result was winning the league at the cup final ahead of Lowestoft Town who were runners-up.

The Dersingham first team supported the boys and were happy to celebrate with the youngsters after their success.

Coaches of the team were: Gary English, Stuart Able, Adam Seal, Steven Ling.

The squad consisted of: Barney Able, Herbie Brown, Bradley Carver, James Coates, Solomon Edwards, Luka English, Lenny Hipkin, Leon Hockton, Edgar Kalabin, Aaron Ling, Foster May, George Simpson.
