Ingoldisthorpe recognised before final league fixture

Ingoldisthorpe were presented with their second league trophy in as many seasons as they played their final fixture of the season against Terrington.

Many would argue that the decisive game of the season was Thorpe’s 1-0 home victory over Heacham Reserves who held the momentum at that point of the season.

Ever since that fixture in February, Ingoldisthorpe have been faultless in the league and were crowned champions with a 3-0 win on Saturday.

Heacham Reserves were in action themselves as they managed to pull 12 players together to complete the fixture away to Docking Rangers.

The home side ran out comfortable 5-1 winners with Tom Hawkins claiming a hat-trick and Liam Spooner a brace.

Ruben Dores struck the consolation goal for the Magpies.

Clenchwarton climbed up to ninth in the table with a 3-2 win against KLSC FC Reserves. Alfie Bargewell struck twice for the Oranges.

A first half goal from Sam Cubberley was enough for Marshland Saints to defeat Watlington Development.

This put them in good stead ready for their league cup final against Dersingham Reserves on April 28.

Elsewhere in Division One, the game between Dersingham Reserves and Reffley finished goalless.

Division Two leaders Ingoldisthorpe Reserves went down 3-0 to a strong Gayton Old Boys side who many have as favourites for the League Cup final on April 21.

Callum Lee, Alexander Oughton and Thomas Cunliffe found the net.

Four goals from Max Goodrum helped AFC Lynn Napier Reserves to a 6-1 win against Watlington Development.

Christopher Cottey and substitute Sonny Carter wrapped up the scoring whilst Samuel Barrett was on target for Watlington.

West Winch Reserves moved off the bottom of the league with a 2-0 away win at Marshland Saints.

Kai Gilkerson found the net on both occasions.

Reffley Reserves had Bradley Wilson to thank for the three points against Weeting Saxons.

Wilson found the net on three occasions as they ran out 3-0 victors.

Finally, there was a convincing 6-2 win for KLSC FC A away to The Woottons.

Vincent Lewis and Mark Smith found the net during the fixture.
