King’s Lynn Town have been drawn away to Scunthorpe United in the Fourth Qualifying Round of the Emirates FA Cup, with ties scheduled to take place on the weekend of October 11.

The Linnets will travel to the high-flying National League side at the Attis Arena after four league encounters over the last couple of seasons.

Scunthorpe sit fifth in the league table and remain unbeaten with six wins and four draws from their opening ten fixtures of the season.

The Iron won the last match in North Lincolnshire 3-0 back on New Year’s Eve, but lost the encounter against the Linnets back on Good Friday.

The match will see Linnets skipper Michael Clunan reunited with his former club for the first time since he lifted the Promotion Final trophy for the Lincolnshire outfit on May 18.

Fourth round qualifying winners will pick up £9,375 while losers will receive £3,125.
