Middleton Hall Golf Club’s Senior Club Championship delivered drama, determination, and high-quality golf as players braved challenging weather conditions to contest this year’s titles.

Battling through wind and rain, with both the net and gross competitions closely fought on the day.

In the Net Championship, it was Trevor Parkin who held his nerve and found form, carding a superb net 69 from the white tees to take the title.

Just two shots separated the top three, with Keith Gardner finishing a close second.

Ian Boosey matched Gardner’s net 71, but was edged out into third on countback.

Meanwhile, the Gross Championship belonged to Simon Hepher, who produced a composed round of 78 to claim the honours.

He was followed by Mike Lewarne, who shot an 82 to take second place, with Mark Platts, the current Seniors Captain, finishing third with a gross 85.
