Lynn and Downham students make the grade

Students from the Lynn and Downham schools of Mark Farnham Tae Kwon-Do have been successful at a colour belt grading examination.The gradings are conducted by ninth dan Tae Kwon-Do grand masters from around the country who each have more than 50 years of experience in the martial art.To take part in a grading, a student needs to have worked for an allotted time and be up to a good standard for the grade they are taking.Students all start at white belt and work through yellow, green, blue and red grades until they are ready to aim for their black belts.Gradings were held at the Discovery Centre in King’s Lynn and started with a one-hour training session where the student ran through the requirements for their grading and then they take part in their session.The schools achieved a 100 per cent pass rate as all students gained good grades in front of examiner Ron Sergiew.Lynn results9th Kup: Leo Coffey, Max Murray-Hope, Paityn Vice. 8th Kup: Reuben Moore, Maksim Nikiforovs, Jieun Yi. 7th Kup: Aron Armalas.6th Kup: Edward Isajev.5th Kup: Natalie Day. 3rd Kup: Dominykas Kasnauskas, Matas Kasnauskas.2nd Kup: Riley Harris. 1st Kup: Corbyn Mason.Downham results 9th Kup: Isaac Day, Grayson Wilson, Jonathan Day.8th Kup: Tilly Cakebread, Baiba Mrazek.
